In short:
- •We use only essential cookies and closely related browser storage that make the site work.
- •We do not use advertising cookies. We do not track you across the internet.
- •You do not need to manage cookie preferences because we do not use optional cookies.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, like your login status and preferences.
2. Cookies We Use
LedgerReady uses a minimal set of cookies, all strictly necessary for the platform to function. Cookies are limited to those strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user (e.g., authentication and security).
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Authentication session | 1 hour | Essential |
sb-refresh-token | Session renewal | 7 days | Essential |
csrf_token | Cross-site request forgery protection | 24 hours | Security |
3. Cookies We Do Not Use
- Advertising or marketing cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Social media cookies
- Analytics cookies that identify individual users
4. Third-Party Services
LedgerReady uses the following third-party services that may set their own cookies:
- Supabase (authentication): Sets session cookies to keep you logged in securely.
- Stripe (payments): When you visit our pricing or checkout pages, Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
LedgerReady does not control cookies set by third-party providers. Users should review the privacy and cookie policies of those providers for more information about their data practices.
5. Analytics
LedgerReady also stores a short-lived session analytics record in browser local storage to understand product usage within a single browser session. This session record is not an advertising cookie and is not used for cross-site tracking.
6. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, LedgerReady uses browser local storage for:
ledgerready-themeto remember light/dark modeanalytics_sessionfor session-scoped product analytics- Onboarding progress and certain UI preferences
- Draft form data when auto-save is enabled in the interface
Local storage is used for client-side functionality and is not transmitted to our servers unless you submit associated form data. Users may clear local storage through browser settings or developer tools.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Clear cookies: Remove all LedgerReady cookies from your browser. You will need to log in again.
- Block cookies: You can block cookies entirely, but LedgerReady requires essential cookies to function. Blocking them will prevent you from logging in.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to manage cookies in their privacy or security settings.
8. Cookie Consent
Based on our current use of strictly necessary cookies, we do not deploy a consent banner in most applicable jurisdictions. If applicable regulations require consent in a specific jurisdiction, we will implement appropriate consent mechanisms.
9. Do Not Track
The Platform does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. LedgerReady does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so the practical effect of a Do Not Track signal is the same as normal operation.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide a cookie consent mechanism. We will notify you of any material changes via email and in-app notification.
11. Privacy Policy
For more information about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
